This review is for the replacement container. I have tried all of your more basic blenders and even the Ninja and also Blendtec blenders but no blade lives up to this Waring Commercial. I know the motor is doing a lot of the work when it comes to what a blender can handle but this container really does it's part as well. I have had to replace mine twice but I blame myself... I was jamming hard frozen bananas into the container to make banana ice cream sometimes several times a day for my big family and a banana caught the blade just right and a small piece snapped off. Now even missing part of a blade we are still able to use the container to perfectly grind coffee, I wouldn't recommend that! But it works for us. This replacement container really is worth it the price even if I have to replace every year or two because it truly is a work horse around my house. My family and I are vegan and eat a lot of raw food as well. The container does everything we could imagine and more. It is large and heavy. You could get in a workout just lifting up and down! It takes up a good amount of space on my counter but it is worth it cause the smaller lighter Blendtec I have just can't keep it! Forget making a thick banana ice cream in that! It looks cuter on the counter but I need something that can handle all of our recipes. You need to make sure the bottom is screwed in tight and I always was mine immediately after I use it. Review: Amazing Technology Best Thing Ever For My Older Vitamix - Amazing technology that was the best thing I could have done with my 6 year old VitaPrep 3. Using this new container I was hoping I could make snow and ice cream without having to use a pusher and indeed it worked like a charm. As a matter of fact I did not even need to use full VitaPrep power for either task.. I was surprised as to the weight of the container as it sure is substantial and when the box was delivered from desertcart and I picked it up, I thought I got a wrong item as it was far heavier than expected. I of course am not saying the Vitamix container that ships with the VitaPrep 3 is bad, but this Raptor version is so much more effective and I can say that my machine is now far better than it was when new. The only down side here is that the VM tamper really cannot be used since it would hit the blades if you are not very careful, BUT from my experience thus far,it will not be needed. Certainly this container replaced my getting a new machine specifically between the VM 750 or the Waring 1200.The only advantage of the 750 is the 4"blade which can handle easily a whole medium apple and this Raptor took much longer but that was a test as I really do not plan on using a whole apple ever. I guess they didn't really change much in the past 10 years which is a good thing because it's the same exact container with the same blade. And it fits the Waring Extreme series blender perfectly. Runs nice and quiet.
