Review: Excellent filtering - This is my 2nd MSR Miniworks filter. The first took an unusually hard hit (cutting cord on bear line dropping pack 50') which broke the ceramic element. However, the housing, pump, and everything else remained 100% intact. This filters water so well, you'll hate drinking most of the bottled waters out there. ...waters - water, yeah right.... Nothing better than mountain springs. Nothing gets through, and what can will be killed with treatment. Highly recommend for any Backcountry hike or other situation.
