Bought to use for a projector screen, wall mounting was nice and easy and the operation of the pull down and retract is really impressive. Good quality material that blocks out light from the window it covers when deployed.

I've only just gotten around to using this and I have to say I wish I'd done so sooner.I have used this for photographing dogs and their parents with fake backgrounds to create fun scenes for doggie birthday parties. The green colour is easily picked up a clean green screen effect.I found it easy to retract and use. The wall-mounting options were good and it was simple to put up with an extra pair of hands needed.

The RAUBAY Retractable Pull Down Screen arrived in an extremely large thin box, it was nicely branded but quite heavy, and was easy to unbox and get set up right away. My first impression is that it is well-made and has a professional finish to it, The screen is a versatile and well-constructed backdrop that is useful for various applications, from streaming, content creation for videos, photography, and even for chroma-keying various things.The dimensions of 78.7" x 86.6", it offers a large coverage to create a smooth, uniform background suitable for both personal and professional use.Installing the screen is very simple as picking what kind of fixture you want, the wall mount fixture offers a more permanent fixture or you can simply have it hanging if you have the right stands for it.While the installation process may require assistance due to the screen's size and weight, the final result is reliable. Once mounted, it operates seamlessly: simply pull it down to the desired length you need, and it will lock into place, to release the screen a quick tug releases the locking mechanism, allowing the screen to retract smoothly. The retraction is steady and controlled, preventing any issues with speed or slamming into the casing so you won't have to worry about damage to the screen or it flailing everywhere.The screen material is of high quality, featuring a matte finish and a tightly woven, opaque design that effectively blocks light from behind, it looks and feels professional and the price reflects thatOverall, the RAUBAY screen is a thoughtfully designed product and an alternative to the Elgato greenscreen. I am only able to review the blue version of the screen, however blue is somewhat better for chroma-keying.

This RAUBAY black backdrop measures 152cm by 220cm and comes in a metal casing which attaches at both ends to some sort of support. Fittings are provided so that you can attach it directly to a wall or from brackets although it does fit onto the fittings for a backdrop stand - I found that you didn't need to have a heavy duty backdrop stand as it would not overload a regular one.The casing is metal and at 162cm long and 11cm wide by 7cm across, it weighs only 4.2kg.The bottom of the backdrop is attached to a piece of metal tubing and with the body mounted in position, pulling this piece of tubing will unroll the backdrop and you can make it as long or short as you like. The material itself is tightly woven as you can see in the photograph and absorbs a lot of light. However, producing an area of blackness is not its only function because you can put other materials in front of it and you will not get any light coming through them which would definitely not be the case with a backdrop of any other colour.Getting it to return to its casing is a lot easier than you might suspect because all you have to do is to pull it out a little more - a centimetre or two - and release it. It will then slowly wind itself back into the casing.This backdrop is well-made and heavy duty and should last a long time.

Having a projector, means I am limited to our white walls for viewing purposes. I opted to order this product so that I could have a perfect white screen to project onto. My project has amazon prime built and I can stream and now watch movies in large format using the screen as well as play PC games in glorious large size.I installed the screen onto the wall, which is quite challenging because the size and weight of the item, I need the wife's help to get the screen in place. The screen looks neat on the wall once installed and it is so easy from there to use and retract. Just pull the handle to the desired length and thats it.Retracting the screen is also easy, similar to a kitchen or bathroom blind, just pull the screen slightly and carefully let the sturdy metal casing pull up the screen.Watching the projector on the screen is fun, but I can also attest to the quality as a photographic back drop. My son needed his passport photograph and was going to pay for a photo at the supermarket booth. I managed to talk him in to taking the photo at home using the screen as the back drop. After following the passport photo guidance, using his smart phone we took a few photos until we got one we were happy with. Once done, we uploaded the photo to the passport application and the photo was graded as above 90% acceptance. The photo was then approved a few days later.Excellent product highly recommended.

There has been multiple occasions where I have been taking photos where I have needed a plain backdrop so I was happy to receive this.You can attach it direct on the wall or using the supplied brackets if you want to mount it to the ceiling, I opted to mount directly to the wall and it has been perfectly fine.The mechanism for lowering and retracting the backdrop is very much like a blind, you use the string and pull it to release the locking mechanism and let go once you have it at the perfect length and it will lock in place. Retracting is a case of a quick pull down and let go and it will smoothly retract.It feels very sturdy and has quite a good weight to it. It feels very well made and provides an excellent backdrop to professional photos or videos and the surface is complete even and smooth and I have yet to notice any issues or imperfections.
