It line-doubles RGB signals from SCART, Component, and VGA inputs into lag-free HDMI output with advanced features like HDR mode, 6x pixel repeat, and shadow mask emulation. Compatible with a wide range of RGB retro consoles (excluding non-RGB or S-Video systems), it delivers artifact-free upscaling at 480p or 720p, making it the ultimate solution for connecting classic consoles to modern HDTVs and PC monitors. ## Description It's finally here! The ultimate lag-free retro console HDMI retro gaming line oubler and processor comes to the market. Now there is a cost-effective way to use your retro consoles on your PC monitor or TV in perfect quality. No more bad upscaling, no nested artifacts, no more high input delay, the OSSC is a dream for retro players and collectors! What does it do? Retro console game console Processes (line doubles) retro games with NO input lag - Unlike other scalers, such as the XRGB Mini Framemeister, the OSSC works with single scanlines rather than with a frame at once, meaning there is no input lag (well, a few nanoseconds if you want to be really accurate). Eliminates ugly deinterlacing artifacts and poor scaling - Connect most retro consoles to your TV and if you get a picture at all, it will probably be ugly. Well, don't worry anymore! OSSC converts the image to a 480p or 720p (where compatible) image that is displayed and processed correctly. Every special effect, from 240p drop shadows to striped sprites, is displayed correctly. Converts SCART and component to DVI/HDMI - Feed a 480p component video signal from a Wii and output a perfectly processed 480p HDMI or DVI (with a simple adapter) image. The quality is impeccable. upscaler hdmi INPUTS 1x SCART - Supports RGBs (clean csync, cvideo sync, luma sync), RGsB, Ypbpr. 1 x component video - supports Ypbpr and RGsB signals. 1x VGA - Connect a Dreamcast directly to the device and enjoy HDMI processing of all your games, not just those that support 480p. OUTPUT Converts all input video signals to a high quality HDMI output. Review: Teknik - Den funkar om du vet vad du gör! ## Features - Do not buy it if you do not understand what it does and how it works. - Revision v1.8 - Works with the updated firmware version 1.xx, which provides improved synchronization management and more stability, a new HDR mode, a 6x output mode with pixel repeat and shadow mask emulation/post-processing filter. - Does not work with a Nintendo N64, a non-RGB modified Nintendo NES or an NTSC GameCube, as these are both S-Video and NOT RGB. - Requires a suitable high quality RGB SCART cable to work. Only works with RGB inputs - Works with all other RGB retro consoles from Spectrum, Amiga, SNES, GameCube (PAL), Saturn, Megadrive to PlayStation and more ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07QF95QP3 | | Brand | Kaico | | Brand Name | Kaico | | Colour | black | | Compatible Devices | PC | | Connector Type | DVI, HDMI, VGA | | Country of Origin | USA | | Current Rating | 1 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 628 Reviews | | Input Voltage | 5 Volts | | Item Dimensions | 9 x 4 x 20 Centimeters | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight Unit of Measure | 172 Grams | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 9 x 4 x 20 Centimeters | | Manufacturer | Kaico | | Model Number | MPOSSCKAI1001 | | Nominal Power | 5 Watts | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Ports | 4 | | Power Plug Type | No Plug | | Specific Uses For Product | retro gaming | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Compatible Devices:** PC - **Specific Uses For Product:** retro gaming - **Connector Type:** DVI, HDMI, VGA - **Colour:** black - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 9 x 4 x 20 Centimeters ## Images ![Edition OSSC Converter - Open Source Scan Converter 1.8 with SCART - Component to HDMI and VGA to HDMI for Retro Gaming - Line Duplicator for Delay-free Upscaling of RGB - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71J+5lrZMkL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Idealne rozwiązanie dla fanów retrogrania . *by Ł***Ń on 13 January 2022* Jeśli nie masz lub nie chcesz mieć telewizora crt do retro grania to jest jeden z najlepszych sposobów do podłączenia swojej retro konsoli do telewizorów LCD. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kaico Edition OSSC 1.8 Open Source Scan Converter with SCART- Component, VGA to HDMI for Retro Gaming- Zero Lag RGB Line Multiplier Upscaler for Perfect Retro Gameplay - CHILDMORY 1.8m 6Ft RGB SCART Wire Cable TV AV for Playstation 2 PS2 PS3 Line Console（Not for HDMI） - Mcbazel RGB Scart AV Cable for SNES GameCube(NGC) N64 NTSC --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/661289145-edition-ossc-converter-open-source-scan-converter-1-8-scart](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/661289145-edition-ossc-converter-open-source-scan-converter-1-8-scart) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
