It does not need reapplication for pretty much a full day. Now, this is a loose powder and loose powder can be messy in general, so be careful, maybe I was doing something wrong, but somehow some powder always fell out of the pan, that could be due to size because it is big and you get a whole lot of powder. I've tried Coty powders with color too and they are amazing as well. However, the translucent is perfect even if you want to use it just by itself to lightly dust on your face to keep it from getting shiny throughout the day and be fresh-faced.
