The only negative finding is they aren't very durable the clips are maybe a little too thing and can lose their hooks which need to be rebent before the clip will grip. Just to be clear, the spring force with any addition tension from the wires can cause the curved hook to straighten. One of the nice features is the square socket for the female leads to slide into, for me this is a much better option than available on the other clips. While these are bigger, and heavier than the other options, these are very easy to attach the female lead socket. These would not work well for fine SMD leads but they work well for larger DIP packages and test points. I will be getting more! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ very practical *by A***X on 10 November 2024* this style - with the leads sticking out on the sides- is ideal, much better than the clips that have the wire sticking out from the top, there you have no room to put your thumb.
