Can I remove the batteries for winter storage and have the calibration be saved?** A: All critical data is written to non-volatile memory and does not require the batteries to be installed for retention. Meaning, the data is stored on the device and will still be stored when batteries are removed. The following items will be held with or without batteries: Level calibration, Device name, Trailer geometry (Class, length, width), and Device install orientation.
