I had been using a Costco bought, Thermoflask 24 for a couple of years before using the HF when the TF could no longer get fully cleaned. The TF has a wide mouth cap, with a smaller, attached, sip opening that can be opened and closed one handed. The problem with the HF however, is that you need to use both hands to open the lid, something that is challenging to do while while in the car and inconvenience when out hiking or in daily use. This cap pretty much solves the one handed use problem. It easily threaded into the bottle, it's secure and does not leak or drip. The sip cap is easy to use and the spout allows a nice, easy drink. The plastic seems good, but does not seem to be the same quality as the original. But, for $10, I'd simply buy another if it breaks. I have family members who are seeing how this works long term to see if the larger version is worth it for use on the 32 oz size bottles. Review: Built quality - Very surprised when I just got them, the delivery came early. Doesn’t have a smell you would think. Went to test them out by pouring water in to my iron flask narrow mouth and shaking it left-right and upside down like crazy. No water leaked. There is a locking mechanism that allows you to secure the button so you don’t spill them by accident if you put them in ur backpack and such. Something small I noticed is the handle of this thing is bigger than what im used to, I know a lot of handles only capable of holding two fingers maximum without feeling uncomfortable. This there you can put all 4 fingers and carry it comfortably and it’s better you have a bigger bottle. Now I haven’t test it’s how durable is the handle that will have to leave it for now. However the built quality of the whole things seems robust enough and the color looks great, nice and sleek. Can’t wait to put this to the test for my daily wear. Great value for the money! ## Features - Pop Up Lid: The locking mechanism of the flip top(up to lock, down to unlock). One-handed opening for quick pouring or drinking water is helpful when traveling or hiking - Dust Proof and Leak Proof: No spills when the locking mechanism stays closed. The flip-down cover protects the drinking spout from dirt and easy to clean - Quick Thirst Quencher: The flip lid with 0.75'' wider mouthpiece allows for quickly pouring or drinking water. It is perfectly sized for small sips or large gulps. It also features the carry loop handle that is sturdy and flexible enough to comfortably carry with your whole hand - Compatibility: The lid fits perfectly sizes of Hydro Flask standard mouth 18 21 24 oz (inner mouth diameter 1.75") NOT for WIDE MOUTH water bottles. - Order with No Risk: BPA-free and Toxin-Free, dishwasher safe.
