There is a firm crosspiece with padding where my head rests and I found it very comfortable but for extended sitting (watching a movie or game, etc.) I might add a small pillow or other padding; this remains to be seen. First assembly was a little 'fiddly' but intuitive enough; guys, read the instructions if you want to save a couple of minutes. The manual says that assembly gets a little easier after the fabric stretches with use. I purchased this on sale for $40 and at this price I consider it an excellent value.

After returning a much more expensive brand, I picked up the MARCHWAY Lightweight Folding Camping Chair — and I’m glad I did. These chairs cost a fraction of the price yet feel just as sturdy. The velcro straps that keep the folded legs in place are a thoughtful touch that makes storage and transport much easier. I’ve used them for several months now, mostly for watching sporting events, and they’ve held up great. They’re light, easy to carry, assemble in seconds, and stay firm and supportive even after repeated use. Comfort is solid for a portable chair — no sagging or shifting. A smart buy if you want durability and portability without the premium price tag.
