Cars Toon Rescue Squad Mater Track Set

I had read all the reviews about how worthless the ramps are before purchasing this toy. Everything in this kit is plastic. The ramps are very flimsy when put in place. The dark gray ramp can hold its own, but the clear one with the "fake fire" setup is worthless. I bought this toy for the Cars vehicles. The ambulance and fire truck are great for teaching my 4 year old son about emergency vehicles. He loves both of them and they go perfect with his school bus, mail truck, semi-truck, etc. It is priced too high, but you pay for the Disney brand. Overall, I'm happy with the vehicles, even though they are plastic. It would have been perfect at $26 if everything was made from metal.

On belhalf of my three year old son, of course. An instant hit because it features rescue squad mater. The track does not stay together well, which can be frustrating for a preschooler. The ambulance does feature back doors that open, which is a step above the diecast version... Despite the short comings, he still likes to play with it...

My 3-year old loves this toy, the only problem is his playroom has a carpet floor and the pieces do not quite line up if it is not on a perfectly flat surface. Placing it on the table or a wood floor and the results are much better.

This is the worst quality "Cars" product I have purchased. The ramps are useless and look very cheap, but the cars are where the real issue lies. These are not the quality cars you buy individually - I would compare them to a toy you might get in a happy meal. Super cheap construction and paint flaking. I bought this product for the cars only and would not pay $2 for the entire set. Save your money.

This cost fifty dollars and was nothing but junk plastic. I spend approximately five dollars for the die cast metal cars. It would have been returned if my 2 year old grandson wasn't wanting it so badly for christmas. The worst item I have ever purchased online

Sooo if you are really into Disney Car's you will know they sell the ambulance seperately but the doors do not open. This was a big deal to my car junky. The cars alone would probably retail for what the set sells for. The track was hard to put together, never really stayed together and a few months later got "lost" because I could not stand trying to make it work. The tricks are kind of cool once or twice but I wouldn't call this an "investment". If your child is dying for this item keep in mind the value is in the vehicles, if you have other options in mind go with those!

My son is an avid Cars fan and this was a novel addition to the collection from the Maters "Tall Tales" short cartoons - he has loved replaying the cartoon scene again and again.
