I do a lot of fungi macro photography, so having the ability to hold items securely is invaluable. I use it to hold and position my subject in the clamp, or attach my SmallRig LED panel to the screw thread and clamp the arm on to a branch or my tripod. Once it is locked in place it doesn't move. It can be a bit stiff to get the ball joints to move freely sometimes, but I would rather that than too loose. I will be getting another one soon because they are that useful to have in my backpack and they don't weigh that much.It is well made and feels like it will last a long time. I have a few SmallRig products now and they are a very reliable brand.
