Very realistic looking
I am a fan of the distressed pallet wood look and am redoing my bathroom as a rustic little retreat. I hung the first strip of this self adhesive wall covering and stopped, waiting a few days to see if humidity from the shower would cause it to release and start coming down. It stayed up, so I continued the project. It is very thin self adhesive vinyl and applying it smoothly, especially doing it by yourself, can be a challenge, but it pulls back up easily enough to reposition it and try again. Going over connected sections, like a corner of a wall or where 2 wall panels connect can be challenging, and I found it easier to cut the width to not go over those seams, but right up to their edges, then lay the next strip right up against it, and it was much easier to avoid big wrinkles, but still looks seamless. I just love how it looks, and visitors to my house have to touch it to convince themselves it's not real distressed wood. I have more rolls of this product in other distressed wood styles, and am pretty much in the process of covering up my whole house. If you ever change your mind about the look, or are a renter and need to restore the walls to blah white before moving out, it peels up easily enough. Highly recommended. Check out my pics.

Looks great!
Makes our room look much better than the horrible wallpaper we covered. 😁This is definitely contact paper and not wallpaper, though it will work as both. The film is thin and not entirely opaque. There are areas where the old wallpaper (which is very contrasty) shows through a bit.Long, straight pieces are very easy to hang. You should have two people to help you run around corners and such. It's very easy to get the film sticking to itself. Pulling it apart makes it tear and stretch. If you have help it shouldn't be an issue. Definitely get a decal application tool... Essentially a rounded plastic squeegee. Don't use anything that has a sharp edge like a putty knife. It's fairly easy to remove and reapply if you need to.Despite other reviews stating that it isn't self-sticking, it is. The backing paper is fairly difficult to start, so it may seem that it isn't.Would I use it again? Yes. Love how it looks.

Easy to use, quality.
I used this paper on my counter/built in table to just give it a different look. It was easy to use and self adhesive and it does have a bit of texture to it. I’d give this paper a 4.5 if I could but only because the colors aren’t exactly like the picture, the tan has an orange-ish tint to it that I didn’t care for but I took a chance and it actually works pretty well and I like it well enough.

Perfect for Shelves
I bought this contact paper for my new shelves in my laundry room, and it worked perfectly. It was so easy to apply. I just measured the size I needed, cut it to size, peeled the back paper, and applied. No glue needed! It adhered very nicely to the painted shelves (a few days after we painted them). Also, the pattern layers well when I needed two pieces side by side to be wide enough for my shelf. You can't even see where the two pieces come together! It just looks like panels of beach wood. I love it! Great product. I think this will last a long time on my shelves, and gives them a fresh look with a touch of color.

Really pretty paper. Very delicate
Really pretty paper.Very delicate, so just use care when peeling. The fact that it is delicate is actually a feature because it gives a more authentic wood look, and not a paper look. As long as you know that, you can avoid tears.I applied it to plain white kitchen cabinets to spruce up the look, and I'm quite pleased with the results.

This review would have been five stars, but . . .
I like the product a lot. I used it to cover a door and bulletin board in my classroom, and it looks great -- stays on, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on the look. What I don't like is receiving a message from the seller saying that "competitors" are leaving "malicious" reviews on Amazon and that I should help rectify the issue. I checked the review they said was malicious -- it was from a verified buyer who was obviously confused about how contact paper works -- and, six people had already replied, correcting the reviewer. So, I'm leaving a review that is an average of 5 stars for the product and 1 star for the not-so-great business tactic of sending what seems like a manipulative message asking me to leave a review. As far as the product goes, it's really great -- just be sure to research any messages you may receive from the seller.

Easy Self adhesive wallpaper
This went on one of our bathroom walls as an accent wall. The color was just as expected. The installation was fairly easy. It’s a peel and stick as described, just pick a corner and start working at it to get the back part peeled off. I knocked it one star because the paper is fairly thin and tears somewhat easily. As long as you are careful you shouldn’t have a problem but when we rehung our mirror we barely knicked the wall and it punctured the paper. It’s not too noticeable and does not keep me from recommending however I probably would prefer a vinyl or something stronger. We will see how long it lasts.
