My dog is small, a little over 5 kilos and about 42 cm collar to tail. My dog is a pretty relaxed fella so putting him in the harness isn't difficult, I can imagine if would be tough for a dog who doesn't want to get in, if not impossible. I've also reversed it so the dog's front legs are on my shoulders. I can't imagine cycling busy roads with my dog hanging facing backwards. Decent build quality and is a perfect fit for my dog. Now that I know he loves the bike, I'll probably upgrade to one that's intended to have him on my back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous product.
