Review: Excellent product will purchase again-fish love - Excellent quality, colors , durability, weight, action-nothing bad to say; will purchase again! Review: Very impressive results my first 2 times out - I've been out twice with this on a river and have caught dozens of fish. Tons of small rock bass, a couple of smallmouth and one very good sized brook trout. I was out last night, tried 3 different lures throughout the evening but all of the fish I caught were with this lure (perhaps nearly 20 in less than two hours). I especially like this lure in my river nearby which is fairly shallow and the floor has lots of rocks, sticks and debris. The other lures I've tried there, which dive more, would get snagged constantly, but this one didn't get snagged once because it didn't dive to the floor, it would swim just a few inches below the surface as I reeled it in. Planning to buy larger versions of this lure right now. Love it. ## Features - Rapala Original Floater: Body Length: 2-3/4"; Running Depth: 3'-5'; Weight: 1/8 oz.; Two Hooks No. 8; Color: Silver - Classic Balsa Action: Floating minnow wobble mimics injured baitfish for trout bass and walleye strikes - Topwater and Shallow Use: Fish as a floater or shallow runner around cover rocks and shorelines - Legendary Rapala Design: Trusted hard bait for rivers lakes and streams worldwide - Rapala: Made by fishermen for fishermen, we understand what you need ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001NXCBEG | | Best Sellers Rank | #62,719 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #172 in Fishing Topwater Lures | | Brand | Rapala | | Brand Name | Rapala | | Color | Silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,109 Reviews | | Fishing Hook Type | VMC Black Nickel Hooks | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00022677000459 | | Included Components | Pack of 1 Lure | | Item Dimensions | 4 x 2 x 1 inches | | Item Highlight | Topwater and Shallow Hard Bait; Trout, Bass and Walleye | | Item Type Name | Rapala, Original Floating Lure, Size 07, 2 3/4" Length, 3'-5' Depth, 2 Number 7 Treble Hooks, Silver, Per 1 | | Item Weight | 0.01 kg | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 4 x 2 x 1 inches | | Manufacturer | Rapala | | Manufacturer Part Number | F07S | | Material | Balsa Wood | | Material Type | Balsa Wood | | Model Number | F07S | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Point Style | Spear Point | | Size | Body Length: 2-3/4" | | Style Name | Fishing Lure | | Target Species | Trout Panfish | | UPC | 022677000459 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | One Year Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Rapala - **Color:** Silver - **Item Weight:** 0.01 kg - **Material:** Balsa Wood - **Size:** Body Length: 2-3/4" ## Images ![Rapala Original Floater 07 Fishing Lures - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51hnUN5MIHL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: You have your color selection mixed up please fix so I can buy??** A: Yep, bad merchandising and item set-up. **Q: When i click on the silver it shows tiger striped. I want to make sure i get the silver one. Suggestions?** A: I would click on "silver" and write a note on your order that you definitely want the silver. I see how a few of the colors don't match up with their names. It is confusing. Good luck. **Q: Some of the descriptions do not match the images (e.g., the Firetiger listing). What governs what you will get - the words or the picture?** A: He ll i have often wondered the same thing it is a crap shoot on here **Q: What colors have you found most effective for rainbow trout?** A: From years of fishing for trout Iā€™d say the silver works best. Hold a close second. Smaller is better, too. I love fishing them on an ultralight rod and 4# test - no weight. ## Customer Reviews ### āāāāā Excellent product will purchase again-fish love *by ā€œ***ā€ on October 14, 2026* Excellent quality, colors , durability, weight, action-nothing bad to say; will purchase again! ### āāāāā Very impressive results my first 2 times out *by T***B on August 1, 2022* I've been out twice with this on a river and have caught dozens of fish. The build quality is excellent, and Rapala is one of the only manufacturers that still uses traditional balsa bodies on their lures. The lure looks natural when fishing with it, it feels smooth when reeled in and consistently gets bites when the fish are active. If the bass are biting in the top to mid depth, they'll go for this. Functionally, you really can't go wrong with any Rapala lure, but this is one of my favorites. I got the Hot Olive color this time, but the silver (perch) color works well for bass, too. Get one. You'll thank yourself. ## Frequently Bought Together - Rapala Original Floater 07 Fishing lure (Silver, Size- 2.75) - Rapala Jointed 07 Fishing Lures - Rapala Rapala Jointed 05 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - šŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** ā€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - šŸŒ **Shop Globally** ā€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - šŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** ā€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - šŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** ā€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - šŸ”’ **Secure Payments** ā€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ā **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** ā€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/6313608-rapala-original-floater-07-fishing-lures](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/6313608-rapala-original-floater-07-fishing-lures) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
