I’ve slammed into the pool walls at full speed multiple times and hardly a scratch. Super well made. Canopy seals very well and inside stays dry. LOVE the travel case as this is super fun to bring to the beach. I’m a grown man (child) and this has been worth every penny. But I had to get out to the local man-made lake and give one of the boats a try. The carrying case is a huge plus. The boat started up right away. I put it on the slower setting to get used to the remote control. That was fast. Once I increased the speed setting on the remote I was blown away by the speed and handling. The water was a little choppy resulting in the boat jumping over the chop. Pretty cool. It’s too fast for the pool but just got a chance to take it out in the lake and it’s super fun. Plenty of power, speed and does tight turns. It self right itself too. Battery lasts maybe 20 mins or more (it’s still going as I type this!) so the extra one is nice to keep the fun going. The remote will start beeping when the battery is getting low which is a nice feature. The case is convenient to keep everything together. Definitely a worthwhile present. Buy it!!!
