inexpensive option
nice item for the price however the plastic is is a little thin around the middle and the lid is extremely hard to turn off and tighten and the rubber o ring that seals it doesn't fit very well and I couldn't get a good seal but if you looking for a cheap option to get started in wine making this will do

Works
Overall a good fermenter. Do not move it around with an airlock on, the plastic is thin and it will blow/suck out your liquid. I kept the box and cut a hole in the top flaps to help with transport and to keep light out.

Works well
I am using it to make mead. it works great for primary. Just make sure you get a cleaner that's compatible with the plastic. They have a list of cleaners that they recommend.

Melts easily
I appreciated the ease of use and cleaning the only time I got to use it. The second use, apparently my wort had not cooled enough, and even though I was adding it to cold water in the carboy, the flimsy plastic melted dramatically, rendering it unusable.Far too expensive for the quality.

Works great
Great alternative to using glass carboys for mead. I'd say it's pretty amazing for amateur mead makers that are just getting into the hobbie and don't want to spend 2-3 times the amount of money on a glass carboy. I also love how wide the mouth of the bottle is. It makes it super easy to put fruit and other ingredients in without a funnel. There are a few things I wish they'd make better. For starters the plastic is pretty thin on the sides so you can't really pick it up from side you'll have to either pick it up from the top or put it on a tray and pick it up that way. The top is very hard to get off without the extra tool (DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED TO GET) and the gasket can fall out easily if you don't properly put it into place.

Nice fermenter - but
I use to make wine from 100% grape juice, container is easy to clean must be gentle and not scrach inside surface. Lid is robust and has a Oring to seal it for cleaning this is great but if it falls out you may not know it and probably the bubbler won't work right. That happened to me but you can feel a difference when tightening. I think it's overpriced due to flexing of the container. I use a carrier so it doesn't flex. All in all it's acceptable for my purpose and I will order another one.

Thin and flimsy find something better.
I would have returned it but I didn’t realize how much the flimsiness would impact it until after I had pitched the yeast. I screwed in the cap and then filled the air lock with vodka (forget to save some sanitizer) thank god, because when I went to move it the whole container crushed a bit and it bulled the airlock liquid down into the cider. I had to carefully remove the lid and move it to its final place then put the lid back on.
