For the most part, the model went together with no fit issues except for a very narrow gap along the rear of the fuselage behind the wing and another narrow gap along the rear side of the wing assembly between the wing and the fuselage. Superglue can be used to seal up these gaps in short order. The rest of the parts went together with no additional issues. Canopy to fuselage fit was precise and trouble free. As the canopy frame is barely raised above the windowpanes on this part, a die cut mask set is highly recommended. If careful attention to parts assembly and detail painting is applied to this build, an accurate and realistic miniature replica of this aircraft can be built. As the decals are thick in contour, Micro Sol and Micro Set decal solutions are highly recommended to aid in decal placement and installation. Despite the age of this kit, the included standing pilot figure is nicely rendered with fairly crisp strap and harness molded detail. Due to the kits low parts and decal count, this kit can be recommended for fine scale modelers of all levels of model building skill.
