No more precut straps that may or may not be the correct length. Most of the time the precut products are too long. Why waste? Cut what you need and no sloppy cable fastening jobs. I also use this strap for securing small bundles in position while soldering the connections. Doesn't seem to fray either. But I always heat-cure the cut ends of all my hook and loop straps. Keeps things in place until time for the heat shrink tube. I have an octo-copter drone which had loose wires and antennas dangling. The great part about having this color scheme packaging is that I use the red strap on the forward legs and landing gear - and black everywhere else. Really helps me orient the drone at a glance.
