Except that this chest is VERY large. I suggest measuring where you plan to put it to make sure it will fit in your space and look nice. Also, because it's wicker, you will need to store sweaters in boxes or space bags to inhibit moth infestation. **Q: Would this be sturdy enough to be a toy bin?** A: Yes, it would be sturdy enough for a toy bin, however, it is very deep. **Q: can you sit on it?** A: I would not treat this as a bench. You could sit on it but the wicker would poke you and probably snap over time. It’s like a very large basket **Q: Does anyone use this as a coffee table?
