The most important part is you have to clean your surfaces, wipe clean and rinse with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry. Roughing the surface would be even better for adhesion.clamp your things together to let it set up. That 10-45 seconds isn’t a joke. Allowing it to cure for the full 24 hours before use. It’s got a slight odor, different than plan CA glue which is what also leads me to believe it isn’t plain superglue. It’s super thin, and will bead up and run off of your silicone items, but so far I’ve managed to glue several pieces of silicone mat together and they hold well.It leaves a slight residue around your glue surfaces but so far I have no complaints about its ability to glue silicone together. We shall see if it’s better or worse than sil-poxy but it’s certainly significantly cheaper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best super glue for shoes!! *by on Reviewed in the United States October 19, 2026* This held up better than any super glue I bought at target! Even the thin glue option helped my secure the bottom of my doc marten. I could already tell when I woke up the next morning (applied night before) that it was definitely bonded and glued together pretty strong. Went to work and literally no issues. You get a lot of glue for the price you pay, plus they even include the free tips for more precision (for my skateboarders) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not just a shoe glue. Good all-purpose glue. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 27, 2026* Although this works great on shoes, this isn't just shoe glue. This is a great all-purpose glue and a solid substitute for super glue, and even possibly better than super glue. I originally purchased this to fix one of my favorite shoes. Worked really well for that purpose. Then, I had some home improvement projects and my super glue had turned hard in the bottle. So I tried using this. Wow. It bonds with metal, plastic, wood, and all the other materials it claims for fixing shoes. It seems more forgiving than traditional super glue, but seems to bond just as well. I've had the bottle for a few months now and used it for several different projects. The glue hasn't dried out and is still very usable, unlike my typical experience with super glue where the tiny bottle seems to dry out in a week or two after using it the first time. Overall, this is quickly becoming my go-to glue for pretty much anything. ## Frequently Bought Together - ALECPEA 30g Silicone Glue - Fast-Bonding & Weatherproof Adhesive for Silicone, Silicone Rubber, Liquid Silicone, CAR, TPU, TPR, TPE - Quick Set in 15 Seconds, 3 Applicator Nozzles - Gorilla Max Strength Construction Adhesive, Clear Glue, 2.5 Ounce Squeeze Tube (Pack of 1) - Gap Filling and Waterproof - Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL, Clear Glue, 25 Gram (Pack of 1) - All Purpose and Fast Setting for Projects and Repairs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/580698201-silicone-glue-30g-clear-flexible-adhesive-with-3-applicator-tips](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/580698201-silicone-glue-30g-clear-flexible-adhesive-with-3-applicator-tips) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
