When Love Meets Fear
Can't save enough good things about this book! I want to read everything by David now. This book found me exactly when I needed it the most. In the beginning of the book David tells you not to be surprised if certain things show up in your life while you are reading the book that will allow you to apply what you are reading and learning - and that is exactly what happened with me the moment I started to read the book. I was able to apply a new way to the person and situation I was dealing with, instead of my old fearful way and I was much happier with myself than if I would have reacted in fear, like I have in similar situations in the past. I have read this book 3 times and will most likely read it again.

Richo's best book
Having first read Richo's "How to be an Adult," calling When Love Meets Fear: How to Become Defense-Less and Resource-Full his "best book" is quite a statement. The former is a wonderful and life changing tome that teaches the keys to meaningful relationships with others. When Love Meets Fear builds on that message with a book expressly on the subject of fear. The root of anger, frustration and stonewalling in relationships, understanding and accepting our fear is our greatest journey in life. One caution: This book takes many sittings to read properly. I was able to read only a few pages then I needed to put the book down and spend a day or two thinking about what I had just read. Almost like magic, I found myself time and again reading just the few pages I most needed to hear as I worked my way through.

Profound book!
This book has become one of my bibles. I have read, and re-read all of Richo's books because I find him the most powerful and effective voice out there on how we as individuals can lead a responsible and satisfying life. This books speaks to the heart of many of the struggles we all face. It's happening in our country and in the world right now. This is an articulate road map for love to win over fear.

If Dale Carnegie and The Dalai Lama had a love child that was a book and not as well known
First book I’ve come across that manages to combine practicality and spirituality seemlessly, all the while touching on very real topics that force you to take a step back and look at your life and your habits. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone. For real.

Clear and useful to recognize How We can start acting from love and recognizing and acccepting fear.
I wish I had known and read about this book when I need it the most, because I was lost but I know now, I needed to lived what I lived in orden to finally reach and find the right book now. Thank you David.

The best self help book ever
I love this book. We are studying it in a book group. It's taking us to a deeper places in our lives and helping all of us discuss the realities of our fears and resistance. We meet for 3 hrs and we can only go through 5 to 7 pages at a time because of the discussions in between.I love David Richo and all his booksThank youYola

ok
You should buy his newer books. This one is not as well planned out, explained or in federal as good as his other book on fear. Don't get me wrong, his is an awesome twitter on his perspective, just not well developed in this books as the others. Fyi all the info in here is in his newer book. The new one just has even more.

A great support on my journey
Really well-written, poetic and pragmatic at the same time (full of beautiful paradoxes, too!). I love how the author sheds light on the balance between conscious doing (assertiveness) and being( spiritual surrender or receptiveness). It has also helped me to clarify my understanding of healthy boundaries in the context of non-duality, for which I am very grateful. For me, it is a book to be read and re-read.

Everything good so far.
I just started this book but right off the bat, it taps into the psyche and grabs your attention. It is relevant for me because it starts by discussing childhood experiences and how they contribute to trust issues later in life, and many of my childhood experiences clearly contributed--which I now understand. So far so good.

Big help
This book was just exactly what I needed. No superficial "this is the answer to your problems" but a spiritual guide full of wisdom. It helps see things from a different perspective and handing power back to you. While I was reading it, I knew I would read it a second time right after because there's so much in there.

A must read for anyone in transition
This has been one of the most helpful and insightful books I have read. Prior to this I read Richo's 'How to be an Adult in Relationships', again excellent, but this book in particular has accompanied me through my own void and will help me to avoid repeating the same patterns in future. It is well written and easy to read, full of inspiration.
