How do Gtechniq ceramic coatings work? Gtechniq ceramic coatings chemically bond to your surface at a nano level, creating a hard, protective layer that resists UV, chemicals and contaminants while making maintenance easier. Showroom shine achieved. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 August 2026* I bought a second hand car recently so I'd used all of my usual products when giving it it's first wash and wax. It looked great but I thought it could be better. I'd done some reading up about ceramic products and, since this was reasonably priced, I thought I'd give it a go. The car now looks stunning. The Gtechniq C2 imparts a really deep shine and was easy to apply, as per the instructions. The paintwork is definitely smoother and slicker to the touch but it's been so dry recently that I can't comment on it's water shedding properties yet although a quick squirt with the hose was dispelled in short order. The day after I'd applied the product a seagull decided to decorate the bonnet but I'm glad to say that it wiped clean off leaving no mark or residue. So, at this stage, I'd be happy to recommend it. (The photo was taken a few days after using the sealant so the car is a little dusty.) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 July 2026* This is one of the best Ceramic Sealants there is! It is very easy and simple to apply right after washing the car as it leaves a streak free finish. It is very effective at repelling water and small bits of dirt from the car while driving. It also increases safety while driving as the water runs straight off the windscreen. The value for money is okay but I would recommend buying the larger bottle if you will be using it all the time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gtechniq C2 Ceramic Sealant for Cars 500ml *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 March 2026* Bought a few bottles of this over time. Its a great drying aid and protector of paintwork. I put it on everything, body, glass, lights. It works a treat. Great finish every time and works as a build up. You can tell its there next time you clean the car. Perhaps make it a bit cheaper?!? ## Frequently Bought Together - Gtechniq C2 Ceramic Sealant for Cars, Protect Car Paintwork, Trim, Tyres and Windows, High Shine, Easy to Apply - 1L (Sufficient for 4-5 Large Cars) - Gtechniq W6 Iron and General Fallout Remover for Cars, Brake Dust Degreaser and Cleaner for Wheels, Rims and Paintwork, Safe on Coatings, 500ml - Gtechniq WM2 Microfibre Wash Mitt - Ultra Low Friction Washcloth, Soft Glide Minimises Swirl Marks - Holds Maximum Volume Of Soap Suds, 100% Split Varied Length Polyester Strands For A Quick Easy Wash --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/57798318-c2-ceramic-sealant-for-cars-1l](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/57798318-c2-ceramic-sealant-for-cars-1l) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
