It has a high matt finish. Its just average. Its more of a medium hold vs strong. The product quickly dries up while you are applying it in your hair and you can't move it without hurting or pulling your hair. The texture is semi hard. The product does not have any endurance. Last a few hours and then the hair style falls apart.I was looking for a clay product that would actually act like clay. This does not. Only good thing about it the product is the smell.
