I bought the Cyber Acoustics CA-2890PRO, and after several hours of testing it with Zoom, ChatGPT Voice, Perplexity, YouTube, phone calls, and music playback, I'm honestly amazed at what you get for around $40. The sound quality is outstanding. It's much louder than I expected, with clear, rich audio that completely replaced my monitor speakers. I mainly listen to podcasts, YouTube, and music, and I'm genuinely enjoying listening to music on this speaker. It has more than enough volume for my home office, and the sound is clean and surprisingly full. The microphone is equally impressive. During my testing, I was able to walk about 8 feet away and continue speaking in a normal voice. It still picked me up clearly, even with a fan running in the room. Voice conversations felt natural, and I had no problems holding two-way conversations during Zoom meetings, phone calls, or while using ChatGPT Voice and Perplexity. I simply placed it on my desk underneath my monitors, and it fits perfectly without taking up much space. In fact, I prefer it there because it keeps my desk looking clean while still projecting excellent sound. Setup was truly plug-and-play, and using the USB-C connection gives it plenty of power. This is one of those rare products that makes you wonder why you'd spend two or three times as much on something else.
