Multifunctional Charger Accommodates Many Battery Types & Sizes
I am quite impressed by the wide range of batteries this charger can accommodate. It charges up Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries with ease as well as the newer Li-ion batteries, and although the readout could be easier to use, it works as intended. It cycles through different readouts to show you the charging status of each battery bay. What sets this unit apart is the ability to charge 9V batteries, in addition to CR123, 18650, AA, and AAA batteries. It is also so useful that it works with Li-ion batteries and has the ability to charge both Ni-MH batteries and Li-ion batteries simultaneously. It is IMPORTANT to note, however, that it does *not* charge Li-on batteries that are AA, AAA, AAAA, C, or 9V sized. For those sizes, it can only charge Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries. Each charging bay is independent of the others, so you can charge different sized and types of batteries next to each other. The power cord is permanently attached to the charger, and it plugs into a standard USB-A port, although I wish that it were a bit longer as it is only 20-inches long.Any cons? Just a few minor nitpicks. As mentioned earlier, the readout screen would have been better if there was a separate screen for each charging bay. There is no instruction manual provided, although it is not really needed to figure out how to use this unit. This does not come with a charging brick, so you need to supply your own that will take a USB-A input, and there is nowhere to coil and store the cord when not in use. Lastly, this charger does charge up batteries any faster than my other chargers, but that is minor compared to how many different batteries this can accommodate.Despite my minor gripes, at only twenty bucks it is feature rich for so few dollars.

I thought it would be a great addition to my collection
I got this due to variety of batteries that it should be able to charge. The Jack of all trade, the Macgyver of battery charger, but it came very disappointing. I liked that the cable is non-removeable, as I have two (use your own cable) that have spotty connection, due to cheap welding technique. Anyways, the cable is quite short. The positive terminal is not protruding enough to make a good contact. If you have a flat top, then this is a no go. I have button top 18650 that could work, but most of the time doesn't make a good contact either due to positive terminal contact point is too flat, or the plastic moulding is not wide enough that my 18650 doesn't seat well. When it did, it gives the wrong readout, at least by .1. For example, with my other chargers, they read out 4.02V. With this, it shows 4.13V. The charger itself is not that bonafide feeling, but twenty buckaroos.

Everyone should have one
I had to write a review on this product. At my birthday party I had a lot of lights. Most ran off of rechargeable batteries. One of the party lights came with rechargeable batteries. Out the box the party light would be good between 2-4 hours. Which I thought would be suffice. I was wrong by at least 3 hours. Fortunately I had batteries charging on standby in this battery charger. Once I replaced the batteries the lights worked for the rest of the party. The one thing that stood out about this charger is that I charge the batteries that had run down and I was impress how quickly they recharged. I've tried a lot of battery chargers but this is the first charger that can charger different variety of batteries. It's a one stop charging spot. The USB charger gives multiple options to charger. If you're not by a house socket, you can charge on a USB hub, car charger and even on your laptop! It's inexpensive and will save you a lot on batteries. One thing I must add please pay close attention to the back of the package when you purchase. It's a very clear warning to not to charge non rechargeable batteries.

Diversity counts. For just a fraction of additional cost 18650 Battery Charger, 7 Slot Suitable for 3.7v Lithium Battery outweighed the competition simply by the amount of compatibility it offers. I am able to use four types on this charger so far which is a much better value that the single, dual, or even triple types offered at near the same price. Get charged 7 different ways with the most common battery types available . Works great!

Versatile charger but build quality and lack of power adapter could be improved
* Build Quality / Performance >> 3 out of 5 >> Extremely versatile - accepts a wide variety of battery types. However, the plastic casing does not feel very solid and the spring mechanism for two slots intermittently got stuck.* Aesthetics >> 4 out of 5. The design is sleek and I like the integrated power cable. The indicator lights are fairly small, though, so the change from red to green is not as apparent as I've seen in other chargers.* Value for Price >> 4 out of 5. Multi-battery charging capability is a big plus, but that is tempered by a lack of a wall power adapter and average build quality - both of which I feel should be present at this price point.*** User Experience Recap: This is a useful charger and its ability to charge varied battery types is a major selling points - especially NiMh and Lithium at the same time - that indicates effective circuitry. Where it falls short, though, is the lack of a wall power adapter and overly plasticky casing. Also, the springs for the two larger slots sometimes got stuck, which isn't a huge issue but has me wondering about whether they will fail. For the price, I would have hoped for those items to be part of the package. Overall, I'd recommend buying on sale and only if you have an existing wall power adapter with a USB input.
