I first bought the one size fits all lids that came with one of these spoons. I read the reviews before buying and i was wary but we really needed the reusable lids as we had just added soft food to our dogs diet and didn't wan to be wasteful. So i took a chance. I loved the spoon!Even though I loved the spoon, i wanted to have more than one for the dog so i could throw it in the dish washer and not have to just wash it after every meal. Then one day i accidentally bought loaf food instead of chunky food on accident and understood the complaints. These are great for chunky food, but for loaf it's terrible it's almost useless, and food gets stuck in it all the time. i let the dog lick it off, but cannot wait to go back to chunky food. If you feed your pet loaf this is not the spoon for you, but it works great for chunky....this whole review sounds gross >.<

Easy to use, easy to clean. Only complaint is that pate type cat food tends to stick in the spoon and needs to be removed by finger.Update- 11/18/19, after using for 2 weeks, one spoon has already broken. These are not very durable.

These are pretty good at getting cat food out of cans. I'm not sure how, but I'd like to see these modified to allow users to scrape every last bit out. (The cat food cans I use have little ridges that trap bits of food in them. If I were to attempt to clean the cans to recycle them, it would be very difficult to get it all out.) I assume that's why one edge of the scoop is longer than the other, but it's not narrow enough to get it all out.Prior to buying these, I was using mini spatulas. Those spatulas got all cut up on the metal edges of the cans, sometimes even depositing tiny pieces of silicone into their food. And so, I finally found these. If you feed your cats a wet food diet and have to give less than an entire can at a time, these are a necessity.I recommend these, just make sure you clean them before each use (which is a bit challenging but use a sponge or a dish brush and it's not that hard) and don't drop or microwave these. They are made of melamine and contain toxic chemicals that are stable when used properly. If you do drop one, throw it away. Don't try to glue it back together and then continue to use it on your pet's food!

Pet food spoons arrived today. First impression: smaller than I expected. After using, I do wish they were larger. That being said, the spoons do exactly what they are supposed to do, and, they do it well. My cat food comes in 3-1/2 ounce cans. These spoons fit the interior edges of the can very well. They serve to portion out the food. They are sturdy and colorful. I’m still adjusting to the ergonomic handle—-it just doesn’t come easily for me. They will do the job4 Stars only because of the size issue. But, the size may be perfect for other types of pets and hands

I just love these spoons! They work perfectly, they wash up well, and they're kind of cute, too. The two 4-star reviews say only positive things about these spoons, but because they gave 4 instead of 5 stars, this item's review score looks less than perfect. It shouldn't - there are no negative remarks at all, so pleased don't let those scores keep you from buying these spoons. They really are perfect!

For $13, these spoons do a fantastic job of scraping the sides of each can of food, making sure you get every amount of food you paid for out of the can and onto the bowl. The back of these spoons also come to a point, making it easy to get under and lift off the can top if needed. I use each of these spoons twice a day and then thrown them in the dishwasher for a quick clean. Only downside would be the curve of the spoon means water will splash back at you when running the faucet on it, but that's more of a fun surprise.

I have been helping look after some stray cats and kittens in my neighborhood, and when trying to get food out of the tins, I've been using a mini silicone spatula. Unfortunately, the sharp edges have chewed up said spatulas so I have been looking for another tool to use (forks don't get everything). I mentioned it to some online friends, one of whom directed me to this product, so I thought I'd give it a try. They were smaller than I had expected, but definitely do the job, so there is less food left in the can and more food available for the cats. So far so good!

I initially loved these spoons - it was easy to get almost all the food out of the can and provide each pet an equal amount. I've been rotating the different spoons, and within the first week the orange one chipped. Be careful how to handle/wash/store these. I'm not sure when it happened, but this item is fragile.
