Soon they got demanding and aggressive; climbing the main room window screen trying to get in. The original (nylon, fiberglass or something) was no deterrent; I caught that immediately before being ripped to shreds. I bought aluminum screens (can't find steel any more at the stores; all screens used to be steel!). They lasted a while but they eventually gnaw through. After internet search I found this product, thought I'd try it. It's been one month. The furry furries are gnawing and mangling the hell out of it, but so far not one breakthrough! It works - excellent product, strong. Good steel, but it is thinner than you might guess from the picture. If it stops squirrels it will work for any other rodent, if that is what you want it for. Good price too. I plan to buy some more soon.
