Review: Fantastic grip and they stay on perfectly without having to wrestle with them to get them on.
Review: I ordered 3 sets all different sizes and each of them was too small for the person they were intended so, of course, since my foot was the largest, I was the loser. I'm uploading a size chart since there wasn't one listed. I was having to guess and I wrongfully thought that the sizes would be similar to a different brand that was very similar in design. So far, I think they are designed well and will be ordering a 4th pair in X-Large for my size 12.5. I'll keep the tiny "small" size in case I come across a toddler lost in a snowstorm. I'll be able to slap these bad boys on those wee little feet and give him a good chance on finding his way home, without slipping, mind you. Ahhh, they'll probably even throw me a parade... Ahem, yes, well I'll consider raising these to 5 stars after I get a pair for myself and they test out ok. (edit) Just got my XL pair for my size American 12.5 foot and they fit my size 12.5 Zamberlan and my Merrell hiking boot perfectly but they were a bit small on my size 11.5 Carhartt composite toe work boot. The composite toe work boots usually run larger in the toe box area so you might consider going a size up since the chart shows that the XL should be good for size 10 to 13 for the insulated boots but the XXL might be a better fir for boots like these. I attached a picture of the Carhartt and the Zamberlan boots next to each other so you can see the fit. Note you will see the heal spikes shifts forward they get fitted on bigger boots. That and the tauntness of the elastomer material will determine the proper fitment, it seems. OK, a little bonus fitment info. I got my wife a pair of the warmest boots on the planet. They are the Bata White Bunny/Mickey military boots with the paratrooper high altitude valves, good to -60°F in a size 6 Extra Narrow. Admittedly, not the most stylish boots in there normal form, I had to pretty them up with faux fur cuffs and fur pom-poms. Anyway, her new size M red Ultra Microspikes fit her size 7.5 boots, insulated boots and shoes perfectly but guess what size the Bunny boots needed to have to fit properly? Yes, you guessed it, my new XL spikes as seen in the attached pictures. Ahhh, can't win for losing but at least I won't hear, "My feet are cold" while out looking at the late summer/early fall colors changing. Just kidding, in case she ever comes across this and reads it, but her feet do get cold rather quickly or so she says ;)

These are the best micro-spikes I have found. The quality of materials is amazing. The rubber is BEEFY but still soft and elastic. These won't "dry" out and start cracking. The eyelets are reinforced. The front spikes are a nice touch and could prove useful in steeper sections of trail. The metal material seem of good quality (stainless?) as well and doesn't look like it will "rust", but we'll see....it's not detailed anywhere by the manufactorer.
