Easy, vibrant and good for the environment
I have really thin, fragile hair that was previously dyed red from a 'Live' box of dye. I wanted to try henna as an environmentally friendly alternative, but was worried the application would be complicated. I was wrong! You only have to mix the powder with hot water to make a paste, then it's ready to apply. Application was fairly easy, but since it's a paste (much thicker than the bottle dyes) it was a bit harder to work through the hair.I let it sit for 2 hours under a shower cap, then rinsed it out in the shower. It didn't take any longer to rinse than a regular dye.I love the result! The colour is really vibrant and I can't get over how much softer and happier my hair feels. The best part is I only needed & mixed up 1/3rd of the box, so one box will last me a long time! Definitely try henna if you're not sure, your hair and the environment will thank you.

Henne Hair Colouring Powder - Learn how to apply
I ordered the three colour - Auburn, Copper and Brown. I have used only the Auburn type so far. I have to say it delivers what it says. My hair turned beautyful dark red. I read reviews from people and they mention that it is messy to apply and it creates highlights (or non-uniform colour). This is simply because they do not know how to mix and apply the powder.First, let me say that I regularly use hair masks that I make at home. They are the old style - made of egg and olive oil and some other easily available ingredients that help my hair. This has given me years of practise how to apply dispersions on my hair. Dispersions are systems of powder (or particles) dispersed in liquid, not necessary water. So start with placing 1 part of the henne powder with 1 part of water in a bowl that you will use in a water bath. My hair is about 20 cm long so I need about 75g of the powder. Mix them together and add an egg yolk. Beat the yolk into the misture. A hand held mixer (e.g. for frappe) helps with the job. You need the egg yolk to help emulsify/disperse the powder. Next, put the bowl in a larger pot that you have filled with water. Heat the pot on a hot plate and watch as the henne mixture turns darker. When the darker colour is uniform, take off the hot plate/gas hob. Take out the bowl with the henne and let it cool to comfortable temperature. Not too much. You should end up with something like a paste. To apply the mixture you will need a towel to place on your shoulders (with something to clip), a comb, latex gloves and an old toothbrush. If you want to prevent drippings just hold the bowl close to your head when you scoop with the toothbrush and apply onto the hair. Comb at wish.At the end cover with a plastic shower cap and arm yourself with a pack of tissues. This is the only reason that I give it four stars. You have to spend the next two hours wiping anything that drips from your head. The two hours perdiod is the minimum that will guarantee an uniform colour.Hope it helps

Great Natural Colouring
MESSAGE TO ANTHONY:I always apply to freshly washed hair to ensure there are no product build ups on the hair before I start!1. Double water to powder ie. 200ml boiled hot water to 100g of henna powder, and 100ml to 50g and so on2. I use freshly boiled water3. Add a small amount of conditioner to smoothen consistency (easier to wash out too!). Stir with a stick or similar which you don't mind becoming stained.4. Petroleum Jelly to protect areas not requiring henna, back of neck, ears, behind ears etc5. Use within 15mins or as soon as is cool enough for scalp and hair6. Spread using gloves/tint brush or combination of both or whatever suits you best7. Decide how long you'd like to leave it on. Best results for me are overnight with cling film. Dark towel on pillow or similar. Other than that, a minimum of 6 hours is what I usually do, and never had a problem with this brand. I use Auburn or Black. Good luck

Colour
Only used once. I expected better outcome colour wasn't all that great. It is possible that you might have to use this product more than once if you want to colour grey hair.

quite pleased with the natural copper/orange tone and dazzling shine
quite pleased with the natural copper/orange tone and dazzling shine. hair feels thicker and healthier. the product is 100% natural and really benefits hair. the smell is better than i have expected and is more than tolerable. yes, it is a bit messy and harder to apply comparing to chemical diyes but totally worth it.a couple of things i'd like to know before appying but couldn't find in the net:1. don't worry if the henna looks green in a container and greenish brown on your hair. once wased out you will get a nice bronze colour2. the brighter (more orange) you want your hair the longer you need to keep henna on. i was holding it for almost 2 hrs and got pretty orange colour which i was really looking forward to.3. if your hair has been diyed before - do not worry, nothing bad will happen. some articles say it turns green etc. well mine did not. the only trouble is - you will get a different color at your roots which is particularly visible if your roots are darker.some general tips:1. do not use metal container for mixing henna with water. only use glass or ceramic ones. metal can create chemical reaction which may alter pigment and result can be unexpected.2. always use gloves even if these are not provided in the set.3. add a cople drops of essential oils (i added argan oil) - makes it easier to apply & smells better4. when the henna is rinsed off use a bit of conditioner to untanle hair and take hidden crumbles of henna off.

Ottimo prodotto! Perfect product!
Ottimo prodotto, lo uso da anni, il migliore sul mercato!Perfect product, I’ve been using this products for years and I feel it’s the best on the market!———-Dopo aver letto diverse recensioni che si lamentano del fattore permanenza mi permetto di dare un suggerimento su come utilizzare l’henné, che per me funziona bene da decenni ed ho sempre usato questa marca, stesso colore.
