Don’t buy if you want/need gps point-to-point routing (auto guidance) or you’ll need to purchase new g2hd vision/ultra maps for full retail price $400+ more. No discount map upgrade available. I use $50 Navionics app on my iphone for navigating to places in Chesapeake mid Atlantic region. btw, if you are using nema2000 interface to monitor engine info, this garmin is also basic in this ability too, since it only reads about 5 addresses on my 08 yamaha 225, and omits fault readouts and hour meter, and some other pertinent data - it disappoints here too. It does however readout my g10 fuel flow meter, info, and fuel level (key-off), however when I key-on, fuel readout on garmin goes to zero, and oem fuel gage on panel reads correct. Something wonky here, but not a big deal for me, I just cannot get a low fuel warning out of the garmin.
