Almost indestructible, great for beginners.
This plane is identical to the TopRace version (pictured). Super easy plane to fly, especially in beginner mode. The one negative is the flimsy landing gear, which means hand launch only. I replaced the landing gear with a homemade tundra style gear (pictured) and I can takeoff and land with ease. I have both the Top Race and VolantexRc versions, same-same. The BEST feature of this plane is the prop saver - it pops off on impact and snaps back on. Other planes, you have to order new parts after a rough landing. I have many, many hours on these planes, and they've hit light poles, chain link fences, pavement, and are easily repaired with glue/tape.

Awesome product! Will definitely buy again. Does require 4 AA Batteries
I bought this product for fun. Didn't really expect this plane to be as excellent as it was! I have bought multiple RC planes before. They ended up breaking in 2 weeks or less. This is WONDERFUL! So first off i unboxed it. looks pretty good so far. Took it outside and did a ground takeoff. Took off with short runway space! went VERY FAST flew right into the sky beautifully. I turned it around approaching for its first landing. put the throttle to about 25% then when I was about 2 feet off the ground I put the throttle to 0% then glided down to a perfect, smooth landing. Excellent RC plane and I sure will buy it again! 1 Warning though : you do need 4 AA batteries for the remote.

My honest reaction to this plane
This is a very durable plane, but don’t fly it too much or else it will break. I accidentally flew it directly into the ground and it broke in half and everything was out, but it was able to fix it with some gorilla glue. I would recommend buying extra batteries with us because even though the 40 minute flight time is true it’s sometimes won’t work, and sometimes you might wanna fly it for more Also, this this actually surprised me how well it fly. It went very fast was pretty easy to control, and it was very simple. After taking this thing apart after I crashed the motherboard and gyroscope are very simple and extremely sturdy. The LEDs are very cool. I would recommend throwing to takeoff.

Not worth the price. Get something at Walmart….Yeah. That bad.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Well. There were mixed reviews. I figured for fifty something bucks it would be fun for a week or two. This thing didn’t last an hour before the foam separated at glued points to the point where we had to stop flying as it wouldn’t fly properly anymore and would break with any further use. I bought two. They both did the same thing. Broke at the location where the battery compartment attaches to the main upper body and the plastic battery compartment itself disconnected from the foam after opening and closing only a few times. Also only one plane of two had a nose cone in the box. I should not be gluing something overnight after the first day my son has these planes. He earned money to buy them and has buyers remorse. He asks me why they break so easy and why it’s so expensive and I say that’s what you get if it’s no made in America. Money wasted. I wouldn’t recommend buying these.

It's a mixed bag...
The good: Beautiful and graceful with plenty of power, high performance and good glide ratio. The bad: nose heavy even with a 1100mA battery placed as far back as possible. Servo components and linkages are low quality, cheapest and worst I have ever used. 2 broke right away as I tried to put them on, and two servo arms were missing in the package, and parts that do not belong. Assembly instructions are poorly written. The wings require some effort to put on or take off, and I predict that the low quality clips that hold them will break soon. I used some old & better quality linkage for servo that I had, but do not have a solution for wing clips when they break, and I have to take the wings off each time for transport. It would be an excellent plane if it had better quality attachment components.

Awesome plane
I bought this plane for my seven year old. He absolutely loves it. I was worried at first because I thought it would be too hard for him to learn. To my surprise it was a breeze. There are 2 ways to start flight, first off the ground and the second by throwing which is the method we prefer. Once thrown into the air it stabilizes really quickly. He was able to play with it for around 45min before we had to charge it again. It has realistic lights so you can fly it at night as well without the worry of loosing it. It is light but durable. I would definitely buy again.

Not a floater but great for the price. Updated
Easy build. Flies very nicely. It's not a floater, but still a great plane for the money. 1300 3s as far back as I could get it had the cg about right.Update: the 1300mah battery was only giving me about 3 minutes of motor run time. I didn't want to do the mod where the wheel and well is removed, so I made a light ply battery tray and installed it at an angle from the rear of the battery tray up and back against the front of the receiver tray. I'm now flying 2200 3s packs and it flys very well, with more flight time. A bit heavier, but worth it to me.

Lightweight Foam Plane
My expectations were a bit high for the price. The plane is compressed Styrofoam, so it is very lightweight. The paint came scuffed in a few places, which is a common issue with foam planes. Possibly good for a beginner to learn with, but only in an open field. Getting it stuck in a tree or crashing into a building will render it useless. I would highly recommend adult supervision in case of crashes.
