Easy to use....go larger if you have small details. I used a map gas torch to heat the stamp. One minute, one minute and a half...only heating the back or sides....not the lettered side. Try varying heats depending on wood density. Never more than that minute or so with a torch is necessary. Letting it cool for thinner wood stock. Great item. Greta quality.

I was happy with one of the default brands using my name and the price was good, so I ordered it. I'm thrilled with the results! It works with ink and heat, so the surface is clean, flat, and well defined. I've recommended it to several of my friends! I haven't had it very long, but it appears to be well-made and sturdy. I expect it to last a long time.

The media could not be loaded. The brass brand is very clear—exactly like the .eps file I sent. It has great weight and the rod to the wooden handle is long enough that I’m not gonna scorch my fingers waiting on it to heat up. Wish the rod was a little more robust to make getting the pressure right easier but it works. I took off one star for the variability due to the skinny rod.Came with a little metal stand that is just high enough to keep it from touching anything while it cools down.Comes with instructions and I heated it in the flame for 6 minutes the first time (they recommend longer) and it worked great. Do have lots of practice wood to get the technique down. I had never branded anything in my life so I knew there would be a learning curve. Practice and practice again for muscle memory before stamping something you invested time into and don’t want to ruin.The downfall of the long skinny rod it’s on is that getting even pressure at the right time can be tricky but it’s doable. By the time I felt like I “had” it, I had probably stamped it 30 times.Heat retention seemed okay and it wasn’t until the 8-10th stamp that it started to lose its umph..So: balance of cost/quality/usage frequency? 4-5 stars.If you’re a woodworking business and/or have $$$ to drop: invest in something else more consistent.If you want a steak or baked goods brand: simplify the design. (I’m guessing my design won’t look good on steak but to be fair, I haven’t tried yet…)If you’re a designer/maker nerd doing dumb shit in your garage as a hobby: this is fun and cool and does the trick.

I got this for my dad for Christmas with a little brand logo I'd designed myself. He now burns it into every wooden piece he makes and he loves it! The logo itself came out exactly like I'd designed and I was pretty impressed by the quality of it on the iron.

I absolutely loved it!!! It looks so cute!! I did struggled doing some tests because I was heating it more on one side or pressing it too long, but the final result with the right pressure ended up being beautiful 😍

The logo sent had space between the letters and the stamp does not, so it looks jumbled when the material is stamped. I had requested that the optimized logo was emailed to me prior to production but they did not. I was surprised when I got the shipping notification. I sent an email requesting the logo but it was too late.

My first order had a typo, weather it was on the order or just a mistake at manufacturer.But they sent a proper replacement quick and no hassle!Thank you very much.

I love it! I just started my small business and I wanted to burn my brand on it. This product is fantastic for the price! If you are heating it manually like us, it will take several takes to know the perfect temperature, otherwise you can burn your wood more than it should. Try on a scrap piece first. The seller is contacting you to be sure the design is ok before making it. Try it, you will not be disapointed!
