AC-DC Isolated AC 110V/220V to DC 5V 600mA Constant Voltage Switch Power Supply Converter Module

I purchased this little gem to power my Hive heating hub that is positioned under my boiler, the power supply is small enough to install inside the boiler terminal box and connected to the boiler supply terminals which are switched by the boiler spur unit. It’s been in service for around 6 months without any issues so a good little power supply that does the job well. Very pleased with it as this mod got rid of all exposed wiring.

I use these to power ESP32-WROOM-32D Arduinos (which have their own stabilising circuit on board so stability is not a concern) and they have quite happily powered both the Arduino plus a 8 solid state relay board as well as six DS18B20 temperatures sensors. I accept the concern about PCB spacing because its so small which is a good feature and hence the theoretical potential for mains contamination of the output, but this can easily be addressed with how you design and build your system along with building it into an isolation box. Attached picture is of it in use in the configuration described and it works perfectly.

Fast delivery, does the job very well.... It could do with some instructions.However the input doesn't have Live or Neutral (it doesn't really matter for this product), however the 5v output does, Red is Live and Black is Neutral... (If you are using the transformer for LED lights make sure you connect it the right way.

Fitted to mirror that needed 5V supply. Nice and small. Fitted behind mirror and works a treat so far.

Bought 2 of these 1 is still working now having to buy another 🤦

Was a bit worried after reading a few reviews but I figured people connected it the wrong way around and I was right. Tiny instructions on the lid that is hard to make out.Connect the side with 2 red wires (input) to 220v - it doesn't matter which way around they go.Note there will be a slight spark when connecting but ideally ensure power is off unless you know what you are doing. Also make sure the output is not shorting/touching each other or anything else for that matter.Then on the other side which is the red and black wire (output) you will get your stable regulated 5.00v supply.Works perfectly for now. Lets hope it lasts!

Separation distance between supply and load less than 3mm. No anti-tracking slots in very small circuit board. High potential for mains voltages to appear on load side. No certifications - no CE, not even (now defunct) UKCA. No documentation. Easy to confuse wires for supply and load. Need to open it up (which is too easy to be safe) to find out which side is supply and which is load. Supply side cable not brown/blue as required by regulations. Perhaps only suitable for sale in third world countries such as China where life has little value.

Needed a small power supply to fit in pattress box with a Sonoff relay board. This will fit in a single gang box with a sonoff RE5V1C 5 volt Relay Module.
