First off, the hose is constructed with an outer shell of a sticky rubbery type of material. It loves to tangle and is very difficult to untangle. both ends of the hose the outer material came apart and I had to cut the hose and re attach the ends. I purchased this hose on July 12th and received it on July 13. Today is September 18th. It's safe to say I have owned this piece of junk for a few days over 2 months and to say the least I am very disappointed on this product. As you can see in photos 1&2 where the two ends came apart. Photo 3 shows the monster of a tangle every time I go to use the hose and fill with water. and finally, #4 shows 2 more failures in the outer wrap!!If this company is worth, it's weight in salt they would issue me a refund without any problems or at least Amazon offering me a refund or credit due to selling an inferior product.And my warning to you: DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, this hose was just awful. It's rubbery on the outside, so it constantly sticks to itself, so if it gets tangled, it's not coming untangled easily. I think my hose was in a sticky ball all summer. It was so difficult to use, constantly trying to keep it untangled and having to go undo the ball of hose multiple times per use. Within a couple uses, it had several spots where the rubbery covering tore. The hose still functioned, but tears after a few uses shouldn't be the norm. It's also heavy. Not as heavy as a standard hose, but much heavier than my other expandable hoses. After about 4 months of use, the hose sprung a leak up near the nozzle. I was ecstatic because I could finally get rid of this awful hose.

I am really po'd when something doesn't work right out of the box. It makes me feel that the seller is playing me for a fool by marketing an inferior product. This hose leaked at the coupling to the hose at the female end. I tried tightening it-no go. Since one feature of the hose is supposedly "repairability", I took it apart (two channel locks, a cutter and a razor knife). The hose end was so deteriorated that it tore off when I removed the coupling. I cut a new end, no easy task, it has to be perfectly even, hence the cutter and knife, managed to get the hose back through the bushing, onto the end and attached tightly, again having to use two channel locks. It lasted about 20 seconds. The water pressure separated the covering from the other two layers formed a nice, 6 inch black bubble , popped and continued to leak. Apparently, the idea was to heat seal the layers together at the end. They used too much heat and deteriorated the materials- the first leak. The second leak cannot be repaired since the slightest variance in pressure will cause the layers to separate. Poor engineering and poor manufacturing. As soon as I can get enough water drained out of it, it is going back. Save yourself the effort.

We've been using this 100 ft hose for 6 months and it's great. Fits in a small container when retracted. Durable and lightweight. Does not kink. Great water pressure. Nozzle is good quality too. We'll be replacing all of our old traditional green hoses with this type.

Didn't get the repair kits with order but the hose and nozzle is really good, the hanger is junk
