Now days everything is a predetermined set; so we decided to make our own Lincoln Log village. This was the second set in our project and it is an awesome set. I love all the detailed pieces and I'm glad I ordered it when I did because I only paid $50.00 for it. These sets will stand the test of time and will surely be passed down to be enjoyed for many years to come. It's fun and easy to put together and the kids love it. The train is cute and you can make up your own little houses for around the railway. The train and the train tracks are very well made and very well designed. Grandsons ranging in age from 3 to 10 enjoyed constructing the set and incorporating it with previously owned Lincoln Logs to create a small village. Only reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 stars would be the lack of permanent storage -- once the box is opened, it is less than ideal for storage purposes. Other reviewers had indicated the same issue.
