Overall a good product. I bought these prior to going to Ibiza having had tinnitus for a number of years mainly caused by loud music.I did a test before I went with the red medium filter which it comes with installed, this i couldnt really see enough benefit against loud music when I ramped up my hifi... they might be better for noisy bars/restaurants where you want to hear conversation but the noise isnt too loud.I opted for the black MAX inserts for Pacha in Ibiza and glad I did, the music was so loud you felt hairs on your head and arms moving, the bass vibrated your chest! After wearing the max for c5 hours in there I am glad I did, my ears hurt a little after this as they are not mega comfy but better than the volume. I could hear people shouting in my ears well enough.Overall i'd recommend these given the filters offer different options. Not sure what benefit the minimum filters would give.Quality decentComfort good short term, ok after several hoursEffective for very loud env, but if you want more protection then the 'wax' type ones really do block out noice.

I suffer from mild tinnitus in my left ear due to an ear infection so I am keen to keep it from getting worse. I am an occasional concert goer but I didn't want to have to stop going all together so I decided to spend whatever I had to on good ear protection. I wore these to New Model Army and I can happily say that I had none of the typical ringing one gets after a gig. I used the black inserts for maximum protection and experienced no deterioration in the quality of the music that I heard. It was all perfectly clear and actually more enjoyable to listen to. I also suffer from mild hyperacusis so it helped with that, too. They are fairly easy to insert and you just have to make sure you get a snug fit. It you pull on them gently and they don't come out you're good to go. I wore them for over two hours and they felt fine the entire time. It was easy to go to sleep upon getting home as I didn't have that post-concert ringing you get without protection. I highly recommend these. The case is an added bonus as I can always have them with me on my keychain.

Cannot fault these ear plugs. I work in a bar that is also a live music venue on weekends, and in my free time often end up in other loud music venues.These have by far been the best bit of money I’ve spent in the years I’ve been in this industry. They’re comfortable to the point that I’ve forgotten I have them in after 5 hours straight. It’s so relaxing to finally be able to sleep without suffering from severe tinnitus after every shift or night out.The case they come in is very high quality, and I’d say over engineered for the task. It has been attached to a lanyard with a bar key on it and repeatedly pulled out of and tucked back into a pocket with change and my bottle opener in and has not even as much as a scratch on it.The third earplug was handy on one occasion when i dropped on as I was getting it out of the case at work, then fotunately I found it later.As with all earplugs it takes some getting used to, and you may find yourself speaking too loudly or too quietly during or after use, but this is something that passes with use.Could not recommend these any more!

It protected my ears during a heavy metal concert.The music quality was great, unlike foam plugs that muffles the sound, this one is different. You feel as if the ambient volume around you have been reduced to a reasonable noise level.I tried the black filter (the highest option in the package) and one thing you will notice is that the trebles and the mids are a bit lower than the bass. This is natural with any high fidelity ear plugs as it is almost impossible to get a uniform volume reduction through all sound frequencies.Overall, I recommend it and it's a great value too.

Generally pretty good ear plugs. You need to do a bit of wiggling to get a good fit but once they’re in, they’re OK.Silicon formula appears to have changed recently - these ones are opaque clear, previous ones were a mottled grey. Preferred the previous ones as they seemed to be easier to get a good fit.VERY easy to lose though so the spare one comes in handy!

I bought these for myself having passed on my first pair to my granddaughter. I like them a lot. However, on the new pair I just can't unscrew the bottom to release the spare plug.

I bought this to use when I dj and go to night club... It is very good. a little uncomfortable in the beginning, just because was not fitted properly as was my first ones to buy. The 3 filters are very good. on a very loud ambient I tried the black filters (the stronger ones) and reduced the level by a huge amount and still you can ear the music much more clear than if you don't have anything. If someone talk to you you can can listen the person. I recommend this ones for someone that is looking for something not expensive but not that cheap that don't work.

I’d noticed that after years of attending gigs, the post-gig ringing doesn’t seem to shift. To protect my ears from further damage I decided to get some of these. This pair ended up with my partner but I bought myself a ‘petite’ pair directly from the EarPeace website which fit perfectly! They’re comfy, didn’t notice they were there and come in a handy case which I attached to my keys. I used them on Friday night and the sound quality was still perfect, no sounding like I’m underwater that I’d experienced with other earplugs. Also still able to hear friends conversation between the bands. Finally, easily removable and no ringing afterwards (apart from the tinnitus I already suffer from). Will definitely use these at every gig I attend now to protect my ears and prevent further damage!
