It is neat, clean, well made and works perfectly with my new MacBook Pro M5 (yippee). Because of my multi-monitor setup, back up disk, plug in keyboard (for illuminated keys) I did need more connectivity. So I first purchased and expensive powered ToberONE display link. That was a mistake. Luckily I was able to return it and then purchased an Anker USB C Hub 7in1 (non powered). This worked perfectly for expanded connectivity. Simply put, I used the 1st Docking Station "C" port for the Anker USB hub, then used the 2nd "C" port to connect to my 2nd monitor. Also, the laptop setting were a little trickly but Ascono was quick to provide the proper settings for best use. (like how to provide "sleep" function, how to reboot after shutdown without having to remove from dock). All is well, great support, great product. Review: A Great Dock!! - Although it is a little pricey, this dock has worked great for me so far! I come to work and plug it in - BAM! I'm in business. Having the ports on one side still available is a great bonus. I do have 3 peripheral USB HUBS to connect all of my gear directly and one daisy chained to another. This is mostly to get 3 separate monitors that can all run their own - no mirroring. A mess of wires on the backside which I'd rather not have (open to product suggestions to achieve this more simply!!) On the front end though, it's all plug and play by just inserting my MacBook ## Features - FITS YOUR MACBOOK AIR 13-INCH: Made for every 13-inch MacBook Air with an M2, M3, M4 or M5 chip (2022 to 2026). It fits the bare MacBook, so take off any case or shell before docking. Have a 15-inch MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro? Pick that size from the options on this page. - WORKS WITH YOUR EXISTING SETUP: Plug your monitor, hub or adapters and your Apple charger into the back of the dock once, and they stay on your desk. Two USB-C ports (Thunderbolt compatible, up to 40Gbps) and a MagSafe port lead straight into your MacBook's own ports, so your monitor, charger and accessories connect directly to your MacBook. No drivers, no software. - AS MANY DISPLAYS AS YOUR MACBOOK SUPPORTS: MacBook Air M3, M4 and M5 drive two external displays with the lid closed; MacBook Air M2 drives one. Docked, connect one monitor to each USB-C port, using a USB-C or Thunderbolt monitor or your own USB-C to HDMI or DisplayPort adapter. - ONE SLIDE, FULLY CONNECTED: Slide your closed MacBook in until the green light comes on; your monitor, charger and accessories connect in the same motion. The MagSafe port supports up to 140W, so your MacBook charges at full speed with Apple's original adapter and cable. Pull it out to go, and every cable stays on your desk. Docked, your MacBook runs with the lid closed, so you work on an external display, keyboard and mouse. - A TIDY DESK, A TIDY MIND: No more cable clutter. Your MacBook stands upright and frees up desk space. The dock is made from high-quality alloys in space gray to match your MacBook. - PRECISE, STEADY FIT: Each dock is shaped to one MacBook size for an exact, snug fit. Your MacBook glides in on a smooth inner lining, and anti-slip rubber feet keep the dock in place. - WHAT'S IN THE BOX: 1 Ascrono docking station and a quick start guide. It works with the Apple charger and cables you already have; the monitor and accessories in the photos are not included. Designed and developed in the USA. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BNSQ2N52 | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,641 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) #249 in Laptop Docking Stations | | Brand | Ascrono | | Color | Space Grey | | Compatible Devices | MacBook Air 13-inch M2 (2022), MacBook Air 13-inch M3 (2024), MacBook Air 13-inch M4 (2025), MacBook Air 13-inch M5 (2026) Compatible Devices MacBook Air 13-inch M2 (2022), MacBook Air 13-inch M3 (2024), MacBook Air 13-inch M4 (2025), MacBook Air 13-inch M5 (2026) See more | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 326 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00850041543116 | | Hardware Interface | USB Type C | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 11"L x 5"W x 5"H | | Item Highlight | 2 USB-C Ports, 140W MagSafe Port, Thunderbolt Compatible up to 40Gbps, One-Slide Dock | | Item Weight | 3.1 pounds | | Manufacturer | Ascrono | | Mfr Part Number | DS-L-TE-R1 | | Minimum Required Operating System Version | Mac OS 13 Ventura | | Model Number | DS-L-TE-R1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Ports | 3 | | Product Dimensions | 11"L x 5"W x 5"H | | Total USB Ports | 2 | | Total Usb Ports | 2 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 | | Wattage | 140 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ascrono - **Color:** Space Grey - **Compatible Devices:** 13" Air M2 (2022), 13" Air M3 (2024), 13" M4 Air (2025), 13" M5 Air (2026) - **Hardware Interface:** USB Type C - **Item Weight:** 3.1 pounds - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **Number of Ports:** 2 - **Product Dimensions:** 11"L x 5"W x 5"H - **Total USB Ports:** 2 ## Images ![Vertical Docking Station for MacBook Air 13" (M2-M5) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51GmOGWvL0L.jpg) ![Vertical Docking Station for MacBook Air 13" (M2-M5) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81YJecWuoPL.jpg) ![Vertical Docking Station for MacBook Air 13" (M2-M5) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/811SeKeWgwL.jpg) ![Vertical Docking Station for MacBook Air 13" (M2-M5) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71T1gW700KL.jpg) ![Vertical Docking Station for MacBook Air 13" (M2-M5) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71MMqFTL52L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can I connect 2 monitors for my MacBook M1 & M2 & M3?** A: Yes - MB Air M3 and M1,2,3 Pro & Max chip No - M1,2,3 chip (external graphics adapter required) **Q: Can I use this dock with a plastic cover on my MacBook?** A: It is not possible to insert a MacBook into the dock with a plastic cover attached. **Q: Does this dock support the MacBook Pro 13" (2016-2018) without Touch Bar?** A: No, none of our docking station models support the 13" MacBook Pro (2016-2018) without TouchBar. On the front end though, it's all plug and play by just inserting my MacBook ### ⭐ Mark a Plus-One in the Regrets Column *by C***R on June 18, 2026* At the price I paid, I expected a premium product. And credit where it's due: The outer box looks pretty, the printed instructions are big and on heavy paper, and the foam inserts protect the item well for shipping. The dock itself looks good, and the metal shell and base give it a reassuring heft. All of that goes in the plus column. But there's more to the story. A huge minus is the hard plastic insert, the black portion of the dock where the computer sits. In some spots, it's physically misaligned with the outer metal frame, with just enough overhang to be noticeable, distracting. But more seriously, because this plastic area makes contact with the computer, I would have expected it to be covered with some kind of soft material—felt, flocking, fabric—because I really don't want to repeatedly slide the sides of my laptop along a hard plastic surface. (The dock receives better protection in its own packaging than it provides for the laptop!) While the hard plastic contact surface is my biggest dislike, I was also really annoyed to find out that the whole unit wobbles. It has four rubber feet, but only three of them make contact at any given time. (See my video.) And yes, the video was taken on a flat surface; and yes, this problem happens on every flat surface I've tried. Even the most basic quality control should have caught this. I can't say much about this unit in operation, because I was too afraid of damaging my computer, and too annoyed by the wobbling, to use this for longer than one day. Did I somehow miss the return period? Yes, and that's on me. But for the kind of money they're asking, this product should have been much, much better designed and built. Do yourself a favor and read the negative reviews carefully before spending your money. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ascrono Dock for 13" Apple MacBook Air - Docking Station - Connect Dual Displays with Two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C Ports - Mac Docking Station Hub - Supports MacBook Air 13" (M2 2022, M3 2024, & M4 2025) - Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID for Mac Models with Apple Silicon - US English --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/529907573-vertical-docking-station-for-macbook-air-13-m2-m5](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/529907573-vertical-docking-station-for-macbook-air-13-m2-m5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
