Wave is one of Japan's more notable small model kit manufacturers. They have come up with a beautiful version of the Macross VF-0S in battroid mode. This kit is not transformable but comes with poly caps so it is articulated and poseable. Molded in 2 colors, the kit is snap fit and has an extensive decal sheet. Some painting is required if you want the model to look like the images. For medium to advanced model makers. NOTE: Package damaged from vender but Model Kit itself is 100 % NEW and UNOPENED

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not recommended unless you have a full tool kit for models

I'm going to lead in with this disclaimer: This was both easier and more of a pain to build than any other kit I've made.On the one hand, the sheer number of parts in this kit is minuscule compared to other kits. I mean, there's 3 trees and the polycaps. HOWEVER, the plastic is also different and somewhat more difficult to deal with when getting it off the spruces. Make sure you have a set of side clippers and an exacto on hand, because otherwise the spruces will make it near impossible to put this together. I'm not even remotely joking here.The other major issue I take with this kit isn't really that important. I dislike that the decals appear to be some sort of rub-on material instead of peel-and-place stickers. The kit looks pathetic without them, so either use them or paint it yourself from blank.The articulation is rather disappointing, but it does hold together well... more or less. There are booster parts that you don't appear to use at all with this kit even though they are mentioned in the assembly instructions. Comes with rifle (only hand for the right side), 1 fist, 1 open hand (both for left side), and that's really it.Was a fun challenge, but it was also a slight disappointment. I'd call this a 6.5/10 as far as kits go.

This is a model kit that doesn't require painting, since all parts come with their proper background colors, and the rest of the coloring is accomplished by the bundled decals.Given its size, it's great tl display along other 1/100 scale Macross figures
