It’s a huge upgrade from an old-fashioned air mattress—slender, lightweight, and it folds down into a compact bundle that easily fits in a suitcase. It inflates quickly and easily, and when it’s time to pack up, it deflates just as fast. Even better: it actually folds back up without a fight and slips back into the carrying bag with no trouble. Comfort-wise, this pad surprised me. I spent a lot of the summer traveling and sleeping on different (often too-firm) beds, and I wanted something that could add cushion without taking up much space. I tested this by laying it on the floor and it felt supportive without creating pressure points. And no leaks! It held air very well. I bought it for an upcoming international trip where I’ll likely be on a bunk or an uncomfortable mattress, and this is exactly what I needed—small enough for luggage, but still provides that extra layer of comfort. This is lightweight and when inflated provides just enough support to make the ground or a hard cot more comfortable. It was easy to deflate and get back into its original stuff sack. I sleep very well on this pad. It has held up well so far. I like the builtin in pump. It inflates very quickly. It says it's a foot pump but you have to use your hand in order to seal the intake. It's not a problem.
