Is your tank Cold water, tropical or marine 2. What is the pH of the water 3 How deep is the tank 4 Do you have plants in the tank I switched from a standard tube to LED lighting and within 3 weeks had blanket weed with gravel and plants covered in algae growth because the light was too strong. Fortunately the light unit is adjustable in strength and overall time it is lit, so you will need to experiment with the light settings. I also found that the algae growth was far worse when the water temperature was higher ie, in a tropical tank. Hope that this helps, Eric **Q: Can you set the 24/7 mode to come on for 12 hours? So from 10am to 10pm?** A: No ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beanie says what he thinks! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 27 December 2025* Delivered on time and with care, the item seems fine and is working as it should do. I am however slightly disappointed that lt comes with just one years warranty which gives the impression that the manufacturer lacks confidence in the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great light, great customer service *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 September 2025* I bought the light 9 months ago.
