I've been fighting with it for over an hour.It just refuses to pop in..** A: there are 2 small square cut outs on your dash, a butter knife under a seem ill pop them out. **Q: Will this work with a dashmat cover?** A: I really don't thing it will because it "snaps on" to the dash. Can't have anything between the daystar tray and dash it's self. Would probably have cut dashmat around tray after tray installed. Otherwise the tray works great and adds much needed storage for small items that are normally taking up space in my cup holders. **Q: What are the exact measurements of this item?** A: It is 9-3/4 wide x 8-1/4 deep ( front to back) and 2-1/2 high at it highest point. It fits exactly on the dash of the H-3 and snaps into the knockouts on the dash. **Q: what does the options base or x mean?** A: There are a few models with different equipment. Almost all of the differences are exterior.
