Review: A GREAT SET OF WHEELS FOR UK PAVEMENTS. - A GREAT SET OF WHEELS FOR UK PAVEMENTS. YOU CAN GO OVER ANYTHING ON THESE BAD BOYS THEIR SO SMOOTH BUT INSANELY FAST AN ALL. COUPLED WITH A DECENT SET OF BONES BEARINGS AND THEIR WILL BE NO STOPPING YOU !!
Review: Ricta Clods 86a 53mm changes everything! - Ok, here goes... First of all, bearings: I have Bones Super Swiss 6. I guess they help a bit on the range and how the wheels can keep on going on smooth pavement, but not on rough, there they do nothing, same with the smoothness and slowdown on the rough pavement, Bearings have nothing to do with how great the floating feeling is and how easy smoothe these wheels make the pavement feel. I had some Stock ABEC 9 bearings, before the Bones, and the upgrade to Bones only did a tiny improvement on rough pavement. On smooth pavement, it's a different story... there they rock! I did ALOT of research on these before buying Ricta Clouds 86a 53mm... A LOT!... 1 month of youtube reviews etc etc.. And it is really hard to find good material on these wheels. The pavement around me is horrible, with normal 101a 52mm wheels I cant go anywhere... literally - outside my house, I can push 2 - 3 times and ride 2 - 4 meters, nothing more... with these 86a 53mm Ricta Clouds I'm going 10 - 15 meters. I had to stop because there was a car or end of the parking lot. Ok, I can feel the pavement is rough, but it is really bearable. I don't mind it at all. Ok next spot, same issue, a little better pavement, but still terrible. Here I'm going 15-20 meters with 1! push WHAT ?! before 2-3 meters. It seriously feels like I'm floating! It is amazing. The last spot I've tested these was on a small hill - nothing too serious, but still. I guess it's about 4-5 meters of incline on about 100 meters. It has a sidewalk, and on the road, it is really nice pavement. On the sidewalk, it was SUPER fast, nearly to the extreme, and my trucks were just a tiny bit to lose so I had a few speed wobbles. Normally I stop rather fast right after the hill, but now I'm just going and going and going. Seriously, I am MIND BLOWN! Tricks? Well, I managed to get up an inclined curb - I could not do that with my old wheels. I managed to ride over some cobblestones, I would not even go near them before... I can only do a stationary Ollie, I can still do that. I can hardly land a pop shuvit, I managed to improve that with these wheels today. I can feel that you cant slide that easy on the ground with these, I don't think they are perfect for grinding, but if I get to that, with them, I will try and wax the inside of the wheels first. I bet that helps. All in all, I'm satisfied with these wheels, actually, I am more than that. This is a whole new level, and now I can skate everywhere I want.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these authentic ricta clouds? Also ive seen reviews wirh pgotos of white clouds, aew the red ones 86a and 53mm? Cheers**
A: I got an email asking me to answer this question. The ricta clouds i bought (a while back) were white with a red core. They were authentic and great wheels. I dont remember exact size and density but 86/53 is the right ballpark.

Ive not been in the market for wheel for a while so have not seen these red ones before

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Game Changer for the UK
*by S***E on 18 October 2019*

Went from little bones 50mm/99durometers to these in 53mm and the difference is insane: -much better grip on dusty wooden skateparks -rough concrete/tarmac/cobbles are actually skateable now (hell, now I can skate off the gravelly soily bit at the edge of the park) -can get grip at really crazy angles on the pump track ** -can get over crooked pavement slabs with much less fuss -your grip is slightly improved on damp (not soaking wet!) surfaces So at the cost of being harder to slide, you open up skating in hundreds more places, in all weather conditions. It's a very small price to pay and perfect for the UK. ** better times, better grip, so smooth, so much more fun.
