First, Aquatic Life customer support is excellent. I had a tech question, called them (number on their website) and Dave called back within 2 hours, very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Second this system works really well. Very clear instructions and easy installation too. I ended up installing the the float valve right in the humidifier. (Did I mention, it's huge, 5 gallon reservoir.) It works great. One thing, that Dave alerted me to, is the solenoid can be a little noisy with the float valve. This might disturb sleep overnight. Very simple solution is to shut off the water supply at night. The 1/4" water lines are very easy to work with and it was a simple matter to install a shutoff.
