**Q: Will this fit in my ski jacket pocket?**
A: Great question, however, this depends on your ski jacket pocket size. All jackets we have tested had no issue fitting the full band when folded in a compact way, some had a tighter fit than others. We have tested and asked people wearing the following brands and they confirmed a perfect fit. Helly Hansen Alpha, Patagonia, The North Face ThermoBall,  Patagonia Rubicon and Columbia Bugaboo as well as a handful of Spyder and Northface models.

A: Thanks for asking, our straps have the ability to adjust in length to accommodate both kids and adults. If the minimum length of 23" is still too long, simply spread the straps further apart on the skis then strap on the shoulder.

**Q: Does this work with XC skis?**
A: No reason I can think of why it wouldn't work with XC skis.

**Q: is it strong enough to hold ski boots on top of skis or is the buckle going to snap?**
A: They are pretty good quality. I usually am wearing my ski boots,  but i dont think they would have an issue with the weight.

I can't carry my skis and poles along with my kid's skis and drag him up the hill at the same time. I've seen some really basic setups that are like a piece of rope with two velcro loops. They look super convenient and small to store while skiing. This was at a really good price and it would carry my poles as well. I carried my skis vertically instead of horizontally in the pictures. The adjustable strap worked well. The shoulder pad can be moved to keep the buckles off your shoulder. The velcro straps are strong. They should last a long time. So strong that it is really a two-handed ordeal to get them on and off. I don't know how they would do it since it has all of these features, but it is a little on the bulky side once you're at the slope. I stored my in my thigh pocket. It took up the entire pocket so I couldn't carry anything else there. But for the price and features, this is a good strap that works well when you have to walk with a bunch of gear.
