COLETTI Classic Percolator Coffee Pot — The Most Nostalgic Camping Coffee Pot, Now Modernized [Blue Enamel, 12 Cup]

I purchased for our camping gear. I tried it at home first and followed the simple directions. Coffee came out good. I used it again on our camping trip and again the coffee was good. For our trip I had forgotten the provided filters so I did have some grains in my coffee but the first two cups were fine and thats about all I wanted anyway. The quality is well made. I didn't have any issues as some other reviewers had. I would buy again and glad to have added this to our gear when we are camping without power or not on our trailer.

This is the third blue enamel wear percolator I have purchased this year first was the Stansport the aluminum internal components broke after the second day of use. Then purchased a GSI that was shipped incomplete; GSI customer service was rude, I eventually was able to return to Amazon. Then I purchased this coffee pot; quality is superior was shipped complete and has stainless steel internals.

Positively, this perfectly polished percolator pleases people’s palate. I mean, what can I say? All steel internals, dishwasher safe, good price, and manages to keep coffee hot for a while too! Gotta love it!

Very good percolator. Made by our Great Veterans! The only thing that would make it even better is a stronger hinge that holds the lid on. It tends to bend and keeps the top from fitting properly.

I threw out the percolator. I use it solely for boiling coffee. So far 2 months in it’s been durable. No chipping or anything. I just rinse it with water, I don’t throw it in the dishwasher. The lid is fine. It’s great for what I use it for. Easily accommodates two adult coffee drinkers, a few cups each.

Overall it's ok. The lid hinge is thin metal and does not retain its shape. It doesn't allow the lid to sit properly. The basket lid is not a snug fit. The directions caution about tightening the glass bulb tight which would cause it to break however,it's either snugged tight or it falls off, there is no in between. I've brewed several pots and it hasn't broken yet so we'll see. The enamel pot itself is nice! The handle seems fine also. I will keep it but reluctantly.

Totally happy with my new coffee pot. Been camping for about a month and it's REALLY nice to be able to have fresh brewed coffee in the morning. It works great, no issues whatsoever.I've used it with and without the filters, I think the coffee comes out a little better without the filter, and it's cheaper too.. :)

Used on the boys weekend camp trip. 12 grown ass men need coffee in the morning after many beverages the night before.It is tricky to find the perfect spot for getting the right boil to not rock the grounds out. But it did the job. Doesn’t hold a heck of a lot of grounds so it has to percolate a while longer to get the stronger coffee.Overall satisfied and will use again.

No me gustó el uso de filtros, los cuales está exageradamente caros, la utilice sin filtro y quedó muy bien, solamente hay que moler un poco más grueso

It's Chinese crap the lid is the same size as the holder for the coffee grounds so don't close

La vdd está muy cara para lo q en realidad es hay similares más económicas me deje llevar por la marca y si la quieres para tu casa o sea en la estufa lo mejor es una prensa francesa la cual tengo pero quise probar percolado el cual demora de 15 a 20 min hacer café y no 5 a 10 como la prensa francesa creo que es más bien para acampar pero bueno quise experimentar....
