A soft flexible rubber loops over the ears and the earbuds rest lightly on the ears. My ears neither go red nor hurt. Although not advertised for gaming they work perfectly well. I am even able to hear which direction sound is coming from. These over ears phones simply plug into a C port on your computer.

A: Yes, they work really well.

**Q: Can I connect this to my tv**
A: No. It only has a usb c type interface. It would work with all phones/tablets with USB c connection which is the new sradard for android devices. It's not a blue tooth earphone. Having said that I found it to be a great product for the purpose I bought it. The sound is clear and loud enough with the confort of open ear feeling.
