If the case gets squished a bit, the edges may overlap a bit, which makes a bit difficult to get open with the latch, but I was able to just slip my thumbnail along it a bit and it came loose.

You get what you pay for, they do feel a little cheap. But if you're cool with that they work well. I don't have to worry about my prerolls getting squished in the bag they come in now so I'm satisfied. It can hold about 8 or 9 on each side if you put them in right.
