GP500520 pressure balancing cartridge worked perfectly
We are very happy with the GP500520 Pressure Balancing Unit Cartridge (shower) Replacement. It was easy enough to replace, although I am pretty handing with most repairs and I did google videos on how the properly replace this balancing unit and the valve.The shower is like a brand new shower, working out well. No leaking issues, probably because I followed the videos precisely.

Great value, easy to install, do it yourself
Fit my Kohler faucet like a dream, worked perfectly. Easy to install (do a quick Google/YouTube search) and probably saved me $$$ in plumber fees.

O ring size
The O’Rings that fit on the outer section of the valve are cut too large. They will not fit and overlap the cutout slots. The inner O’Rings work fine. Waited too long to return now have to find O’Rings that fit.

It works, unlike the kohler part !
This repair kit actually worked, suggest replacing the valve too, stopped the annoying drip...drip..drip..a little vaseline on the o-rings on assembly.....

Our store was out of these all over town, I’m so glad Amazon had this. Fit our tub perfectly and now we have perfect fluctuation with our hot and cold water. Ours is a Kohler.
