Review: Coming home ....to AGV!! - AGV were my helmet choice back in the late 80's, now returning to biking I've tried some cheaper ones but none fit my XL head which is oval/round(MT Stinger 2 was the worst), buying helmets online is always iffy but when the K3 landed on my head it was a perfect fit, snug but no hotspots. I thought the 173 quid was dear, seen it elsewhere for less but pleasantly surprised to find the pinlock visor inside the box with it so that's 30-40 quids worth anyway, not sure if other sellers would include it? Love the built in shades too and the chin strap. Top quality, I'm so glad that after 35 years their fit remains the same...worth paying the extra. Seller is top notch too, got gloves from them too big, returned no problem...

AGV were my helmet choice back in the late 80's, now returning to biking I've tried some cheaper ones but none fit my XL head which is oval/round(MT Stinger 2 was the worst), buying helmets online is always iffy but when the K3 landed on my head it was a perfect fit, snug but no hotspots. I thought the 173 quid was dear, seen it elsewhere for less but pleasantly surprised to find the pinlock visor inside the box with it so that's 30-40 quids worth anyway, not sure if other sellers would include it? Love the built in shades too and the chin strap. Top quality, I'm so glad that after 35 years their fit remains the same...worth paying the extra. Seller is top notch too, got gloves from them too big, returned no problem...

Comes with pinlock, helmet feels high quality and finish is very good. Easy to operate visor and sun visor settings. Feels comfortable if you go a size up. Not a lot of wind noise. Does mist up easily if pinlock not fitted. Good field of vision. Remove specs before putting on, but easily put in place when helmet is on. Didn’t feel at all heavy when worn. Overall, very pleased.
