Excellent Watering Devices
I have purchased these in the past in both this size and a larger size and was really pleased to be able to add some more to my collection. I find these watering devices excellent not just for holiday periods but all the summer long. You can always be sure that the water is getting to the roots with these products which is not the case with either a hose or watering can!

Helpful gadget
Better than many similar offerings for speed of flow etc, downside is the lesser volume of water in the containers.Still a useful aid in the garden within a week.

One of 3 doesn't work
One of the 3 globes is defective. The other 2 are working well and kept my plants watered whilst I was away for 2 weeks.

These really work!
I bought these about a month before I went on holiday so I could water my melon plants in my greenhouse. It took me about 2 weeks of tinkering with the copper wire to get it to the right length to make the watering last for a week, but I got there. This is now, a week after our return. Highly recommended if you have the time and patience to get them how you want them.

too expensive for what it is and the water drips too quickly. I would not buy again

Clearer instructions for use would be helpful.
Because the instructions were a bit vague it took me several attempts to get the watering correct. Fortunately I did a trial run before I set off on holiday or the plants would not have survived. However when I did eventually go away the plants were fine on my return.

Didn’t work, killed my plants
Bought these hoping to keep my plants hydrated while I was on holiday. The leaflet that came with it says it lasts 2-5 weeks so I thought it would be perfect for while I was on my 10 day break. I followed the information given on how to set them up to the letter.However I’ve just got back and found that one only half emptied, one didn’t empty at all, and one had emptied completely but fallen over so I doubt had done any good.All my plants are in various stages of dying, including my precious lemon tree which I fear may be beyond saving.Do not buy!

Brilliant items
Very easy to use and refill. Have larger ones in vegetable beds. They do what they are supposed to do.
